  I've been into the Batavia location twice in the last cpl weeks. The first time was to return a gift from the holidays with which I was given a gift receipt. The second time was to begrudgingly spend the merchandise gift card I received. Love the merchandise clothes, jewelry, bags and they have great clearance, but the taste left in my mouth kept my wallet closed. I have never encountered a more puss faced sales clerk than I did when I went to return my blouse. Not one greeting, smile or a single word, until she encounted an issue of the shirt not having sales tags. (It never left the gift box on my end) I though the clerk would choke on her retinas they way she rolled her eyes. Her job was very inconvenient to her. She asked for backup (...I'm the only customer in the store,) who was equally pinched faced. At this point, I was the only one intelligent enough to go out to the sales floor and find the same top off the rack for them to scan. After they were troubled to put my credit on a gift card, I walked through the store and eventually left with nothing. I went back to the store yesterday to try and retail therapy on my day off, again was greeted with the worst customer service. Who hires these clerks? I won't spend a dime of my own or anyone elses money in that store. As a professional in the customer service industry, and living in a small town where plus sized clothing availability is limited, you have lost some sales. Every other retail store in that plaza offers amazing customer service and sales! Good luck Batavia Peebles. If I decide to spend this gift card, I'll be sure to go to Albion.

  There is a nice selection of reasonable quality clothing here, but boy do they hard-sell their rewards program. I only wanted to buy 5 shirts; I had to refuse to give my name, phone number, and email address multiple times. I've decided I'm not going back. It's too stressful for a handful of clothing items. Cato, Pollyanna & Dot, and Maurices all feature interesting clothing without the high-pressure tactics.
